Pierre L'Amare was born on 5 July 1915 in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. He was a director, known for Canada and the American Revolution, 1763-1783 (1967), Dangerous Decades, 1818-1846 (1968) and The Friendly Fifties and the Sinister Sixties: 1850-1863 (1968). He was married to Ruth B Armstrong and Jo Kroneman. He died on 24 July 2001 in Brevard, Florida, USA.
