Biography

Hoi-San Kwan was born on October 23, 1925 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, Republic of China. He was an actor, known for Hard Boiled (1992), Lee Rock (1991) and Project A (1983). He was married to Di-Rong Zeng. He died on September 11, 2006 in Hong Kong.

His forth and last wife Zeng Dirong is a Singaporean who was 16 years younger than him. She was his Cantonese Opera fan and took the initiative to date him, until they cohabited and eventually got married.

He suffered a stroke in 2001.

He joined TVB, the government-owned TV station of Hong Kong, as an actor in 1976.

He had four marriages, though the first three marriages were not officially registered. He met his first wife in Guangzhou, China, and second wife "Ah Lei" in Vietnam (who gave birth to two sons and two daughters). His third wife, Ye Rui-E, was a Malaysian, and together had one daughter.

Trained by his father, he was a Cantonese Opera actor since 11 years old.
