  • Victor Kutschera was born on May 2, 1863 in Vienna, Austrian Empire [now Austria]. He was an actor, known for Parema - Das Wesen aus der Sternenwelt (1922), Der Schlüssel zur Macht (1921) and Das Spielzeug des Satans (1922). He was married to Elsa Sedlmayr. He died on January 20, 1933 in Vienna, Austria.

  • His daughter, Matilda "Tilly" Kutschera was an actress. She appeared on "Court Theatre" and also starred in two silent films. She resigned on 22 June 1920 for unknown reasons. She committed suicide.
  • The actor Victor Kutschera could look back on a great theater career in the German-speaking area - among others he was engaged at the German Volkstheater - when he entered the early silent movie film.
  • His only sound film was "Die vom 17er Haus" (1932).
  • He was already an esteemed character actor at the theater when he made his first step into the film business in 1911 with "Der Unbekannte (1911) directed by Luise Kolm with Käthe Gold as a child actress. Although the theater remained his favorite file he continued to play in numerous movies in the next years.
  • He made his stage debut at the Meininger Hoftheater in 1884 and from 1889 he appeared normally at the Deutsches Theater in Vienna where he was active as an actor and director. Beside it he had single engagements at the Burgtheater.
