Biography

Matti Kuortti was born on May 12, 1948 in Loimaa, Finland. He was an actor and editor, known for Lionheart (1990), The Moonlight Sonata (1988) and Kiljusen herrasväki (1981). He died on March 21, 2010 in Marseille, France.

Since 2002 he worked as professor of motion picture sound recording and sound design at University of Art and Design Helsinki (since 2010 Aalto University School of Art and Design).
