Doris Kunstmann was born on October 22, 1944 in Hamburg, Germany. She is an actress and assistant director, known for Funny Games (1997), Hitler: The Last Ten Days (1973) and Seven Deaths in the Cats Eyes (1973). She was previously married to Michael Fuhrmann.

After planning a biopic about Marlene Dietrich's life, her husband Michael went bankrupt and was sent to prison.

Daughter of graphic artist and actress Erika Kunstmann and film producer Georg Thiess.

Had a relationship with writer/director Ugo Liberatore.

Joseph Offenbach considered her a talent and gave her the advice to attend acting lessons.

Has a son, Marc.
