Jan Krol was born on 21 August 1962 in Drouwen, Drenthe, Netherlands. He was an actor, known for Bartje (1972) and Sinterklaasjournaal (2001). He died on 15 January 2023 in Netherlands.
Krol became a teacher in Weimar, where he set up the school circus "Waldorfschule". He came back to the Netherlands to follow a clown course in Amsterdam.
