Biography

Viacheslav Kryshtofovych was born on October 26, 1947 in Kyiv, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union [now Kyiv, Ukraine]. He was a director and writer, known for Rebro Adama (1991), A Friend of the Deceased (1997) and Peredchuttya (2019). He died on December 7, 2025 in Ukraine.

His father Sigismund Kristofovich was an actor and head of the troupe of the Kiev Drama Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka.

His mother was a film engineer.

In 2000, the director was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.
