- Kissa Kouprine was born in 1908 in Gatchina, Russian Empire [now Leningrad Oblast, Russia]. She was an actress, known for Laurette ou Le cachet rouge (1931), La dernière nuit (1933) and Club de femmes (1936). She died in 1981 in the USSR.
- Actress and fashion model, the daughter of writer Alexander Kuprin. Exiled after the October Revolution, she lived in France from 1919 to 1956 but was later permitted to return to Russia.
