In October 2020, she was mistakenly pronounced as being deceased per confusion with another woman of the same name who lived in Tucson, Arizona.

She became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1968.

She and her husband constructed and managed the The Golden Mall Playhouse which was located in Burbank, CA, from 1973 to 1981.

Upon her death, she was cremated, and her ashes were returned unto her surviving family as per last wishes.
