Kathryn Korniloff is a multi-faceted audio professional with credits in production sound mixing, post-production sound services and music composing for television. She was a co-founder of the Austin band Two Nice Girls, which was signed to Rough Trade and who toured and recorded for the several years prior to Kathryn relocating to Los Angeles to pursue a career working in sound-for-picture.
Meticulous and passionate about the creative uses of sound, she has credits in sound design and music for commercials, feature film sound effects, dialogue editing and re-recording mixing, production sound mixing in documentary and other unscripted television, music scoring for television show themes and promos/sonic identity, and Pro Tools music playback on narrative film and television sets. She has served as music editor and and handled music clearance for indie features, and recently served as producer/engineer and musician on a 14-song album for power pop recording artist Gordon Anderson.
She holds bachelor's degrees in Radio-Television-Film and English from The University of Texas at Austin.
