Michaela "Misa" Koprova was a Czech-born actress who grew up in Canada after fleeing the Communist regime with her father. Moving to Hollywood as a teenager, she landed roles in films such as The Cable Guy and Junior, along with appearances in several music videos during the 1990s. Though poised for rising fame, her career was impacted by personal hardships, including a serious accident and business and relationship setbacks.
Koprova died in Los Angeles in 2024 at age 52. Initially unclaimed, her remains were later identified and returned to family in the Czech Republic thanks to the efforts of a Canadian investigative team.
