Had 2 children with her ex-husband Mark DeBolt - a son Spencer DeBolt (b. 1989) and a daughter Sierra DeBolt (b. 1991).

On 1 April 1995, as she was driving home from work, three deer ran into the road causing her to roll her Mustang. Her spinal injuries left her paralyzed from the waist down. 22 years later, on August 25, 2017, she died from complications of pneumonia and other medical problems at age 49.
