Lothar Kompatzki was born on 31 August 1927 in East Prussia, Germany. He was a director and producer, known for Encounters with Kieslowski (1995), Intercontinental Express (1964) and Eine Berlinerin (1968). He died on 18 April 2025 in Berlin, Germany.
