Biography

Reinhard Kolldehoff was born on April 29, 1914 in Berlin, Germany. He was an actor, known for Dr. No (1962), Seven Samurai (1954) and Soldier of Orange (1977). He was married to Helma. He died on November 18, 1995 in Berlin, Germany.

From the late 1980's, he suffered from the severe effects of diabetes and Parkinson's Disease.

Bullish, heavy-set character actor, the son of a postal worker. On stage from 1936, he came to initial prominence in the aftermath of World War II in East German Defa productions. Kolldehoff filmed exclusively in West Germany from 1951, invariably cast in unsympathetic or 'ugly' roles, as loud, vulgar or brutal types.
