Kunal Kohli was born on October 28, 1970 in India. He is a director and writer, known for Hum Tum (2004), Fanaa (2006) and Teri Meri Kahaani (2012).

Mother Yash Kohli is always mistaken for Dev Anand's nephew producer Yash Kohli. Kunal's mother was a huge fan of Shashi Kapoor. Thats why she named him after Shashi Kapoor' s son Kunal.

Wife is producer Ravina Kohli.

Hum Tum (2004) was a surprise hit and kept his name in list of top directors.

Directional debut Mujse Dosti Karoge (2002).

Made his acting debut at the age of 48 by directing himself in Phir Se (2018).
