- Sigrid Koetse was born on September 6, 1935 in Haarlem, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. She was an actress, known for Rouw past Electra (1980), De appelgaard (1985) and Leedvermaak (1989). She was married to Jan Retèl. She died on February 9, 2025 in Laren, North Holland, Netherlands.

- Played for many years with well-known companies such as the Nederlandse Comedie, Toneelgroep Theater and Toneelgroep Amsterdam. She played with the latter company until her retirement.

- In 1996 she was decorated as a knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau because of her forty-year career in Dutch theater.
- In 1988 she received the Theo d'Or, the most important Dutch theater prize, for her role in the play Bakeliet by Toneelgroep Amsterdam.
- Sigrid Koetse was a Dutch actress. She graduated at the top of her class in 1955 and therefore won the Top Naeff Prize (= Encouragement prize, which is awarded irregularly to promising students who graduate from the Theater School Amsterdam).
