- Vladimir Koch was born on July 15, 1912 in Bretto, Italy [now Log pod Mangartom, Slovenia]. He was a writer, known for Don't Cry Peter (1964), Martin in the Clouds (1961) and The Ninth Circle (1960). He died on May 27, 1987 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Yugoslavia [now Slovenia].
