- Buddy Knox was born on July 20, 1933 in Happy, Texas, USA. He was an actor, known for American Graffiti (1973), Look Who's Talking Too (1990) and Hexed (1993). He died on February 14, 1999 in Bremerton, Washington, USA.
- He devoted his later years to his business interests, including management of a chain of night clubs.
- In the 1970s, he came out of semi-retirement to record in various genres including gospel, country and Pop. Examples of such were "Glory Train" which featured backup singers and an impressive remake of The Fleetwoods' 1959 hit, "Come Softly To Me", where he demonstrated a previously unfamiliar vocal range.
