Jason Kliot was born on 21 October 1963. He is a producer and director, known for Coffee and Cigarettes (2003), Capernaum (2018) and Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005). He has been married to Joana Vicente since 14 May 1989.

Graduated from the Dalton School and summa cum laude from Amherst College.

Was one of the founders of City Harvest, the first food redistribution organization in the United States. He is on the Board of City Harvest.
