Biography

Pete Kleinow was born on August 20, 1934 in South Bend, Indiana, USA. He was a director, known for Starship Troopers (1997), The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). He was married to Ernestine Kleinow. He died on January 6, 2007 in Petaluma, California, USA.

Original member of The Flying Burrito Brothers.

Highly talented pedal steel guitarist, Kleinow has recorded with the likes of Stevie Wonder, John Lennon, Linda Ronstadt, the Steve Miller Band and Frank Zappa.

Did stop-motion animation for the Pillsbury Doughboy.

Children: daughters Anita, Tammy; sons Martin, Aaron, Cosmo.
