Biography

Chûji Kinoshita was born on April 9, 1916 in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He was a composer and actor, known for The Garden of Women (1954), Somewhere Under the Broad Sky (1954) and Trucker Yaro IX: A 5000 Km Run (1979). He was married to Michiko Kinoshita. He died on April 30, 2018 in Mihonmachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

Brother of Keisuke Kinoshita

He often wrote music for the films of his director brother, Kinoshita Keisuke.
