Biography

Ray Kinney was born on September 26, 1900 in Hawaii, USA. He was an actor, known for Rhythm in the Clouds (1937), Savage Drums (1951) and Dolly (1987). He died on January 28, 1972 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

Vocalist, ukulele player and band leader, the son of an Irish father and a Hawaiian mother. Schooled in Salt Lake City, he was at one time a member of Harry Owens and His Royal Hawaiians, later to lead his own group, the 'Hawaiian Musical Ambassadors', based in Hollywood.
