Was born March 2nd, 1969 in Dublin, Ireland. His great grandfather was a major property owner in Pearse Street, Dublin. King started out his career in the entertainment business in 1998 by founding Ireland's first and only Horror film festival, "Horrorthon". Although he is a big fan of the horror film genre, producing "Dead Meat", his own writing and directing debut "The Blaxorcist" was a comedy, followed then by the music video "Indication Street" by Saving J.

When I first saw the trailer for Avatar, I thought it was an advert for a new video game.

The one great thing that time in any sector gives you is experience. Never to name and shame. But I recall many years ago visiting the set of a film in production, and immediately I could tell, this is not looking good. Nine months later, I attended a test screening of final product, and all I could witness was a restless audience dying for it to be over. I suspected that it was so bad, it may very well be of day, and all these years later it still has never been released. I felt bad for the director, as he was let down by an inexperienced producer with a lack of knowledge of film and putting together the nuts and bolts of a production. It's bad for everyone when something like this happens.
