Elna Kimmestad was born on 30 July 1918 in Oslo, Norway. She was an actress and director, known for Douglas (1970), Exit (1970) and The Canary (1973). She was married to Kjell Stormoen. She died on 21 March 1997 in Norway.

Had her debut on stage with the play Erasmus Montanus in 1942 on
Trøndelag teater.
