Biography

Mira Ziminska was born on February 22, 1901 in Plock, Poland, Russian Empire [now Plock, Mazowieckie, Poland]. She was an actress and writer, known for Cold War (2018), Papa sie zeni (1936) and Iwonka (1925). She was married to Jan Ziminski and Tadeusz Sygietynski. She died on January 26, 1998 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland.

She and her second husband, Tadeusz Sygietynski, were creators of the internationally renowned folk dance group Mazowsze (full name: Zespól Piesni i Tanca Mazowsze).

She allegedly disclosed to some of her friends that her birth year was actually 1895.
