Malcolm Kilduff was born on September 26, 1927 in New York City, New York, USA. He was married to Rosemary Porter and Bonnie. He died on March 3, 2003 in Beattyville, Kentucky, USA.

He was serving as acting White House spokesman for the first time on a presidential trip when he accompanied Kennedy to Dallas. He was the person who announced John F. Kennedy's death on November 22, 1963.
