Biography

Ayub Khan-Din was born in 1961 in Salford, Lancashire, England, UK. He is an actor and writer, known for Ackley Bridge (2017), East Is East (1999) and Sammy and Rosie Get Laid (1987). He was previously married to Buki Armstrong.

His comedy, East is East at the Royal Court Theatre, was nominated for a 1998 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best New Comedy of the 1997 season.

Brother of stylist/makeup artist Lee Din and well-known designer Rasshied Din.
