- Sajid Khan was born on December 28, 1951 in Bombay, State of Bombay, India. He was an actor, known for Mother India (1957), My Funny Girl (1971) and Muqabla (1970). He died on December 22, 2023 in Kayamkulam, Alappuzha, Kerala, India.

- Amit Khanna was directing a film titled "Naya Johnny" in 1974, starring Sanjeev Kumar,Hema Malini,Sanjeev Kumar (Later replaced by Shammi Kapoor),Sajid Khan,Tina Munium,Kajal Kiran, Girish Karnad, Om Shivpuri, Amjad Khan. The film got endlessly delayed. Hema Malini opted out and the original producer left the film. Sanjeev Kumar was replaced by Shammi Kapoor. Dev Anand stepped in and decided to produce it and Amit Khanna became the director. Hema Malini' s role went to Salma Agha ,who recorded some songs in her own voice. The film was 90% complete but got shelved for undisclosed reasons.
