(1994) He was the lighting designer for Laura Eason's play, "In the Eye of the Beholder", performed at the Lookingglass Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois.

(2006) Jai Uttal and his musical, "Sita Ram", was performed at the Lookingglass Theatre, Chicago Children's Choir, and Natya Dance Theatres in Chicago, Illinois. The crew included Krithika Rajagopalan and Judy Hanson (choreographers) and Josephine Lee (musical direction).
