chief musical collaborators included
LeRoy Anderson,
Jay Gorney,
Jean Ford, and her husband,
Walter Kerr. She authored "Please
Don't Eat the Daisies" and "The Snake Has All the Lines", the plays
"Jenny Kiss'd Me", "King of Hearts", "Mary, Mary", and "Poor Richard",
and the Broadway stage scores and libretti for "Touch and Go" and
"Goldilocks". Her popular-song compositions include "This Had Better Be
Love", "It'll Be Alright in a Hundred Years", "Be a Mess", "The Pussy
Foot", "Save a Kiss", and "I Never Know When to Say When".
