Biography

Reginald Kernan was born on October 24, 1914. He was an actor, known for Greed in the Sun (1964), Arturo's Island (1962) and Pecado de amor (1961). He died in April 1983.

Former sportswriter who became a doctor working at the American Hospital in Paris until he had a fight with its board of directors and made an unexpected career change, becoming a male model at Dorian Leigh's (Suzy Parker's sister) modeling agency. Dorian Leigh was a former patient.

Photographed by Richard Avedon in 1959 during an epic shoot that August in Paris that included Buster Keaton, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Audrey Hepburn, Mel Ferrer, Art Buchwald, China Macado and Frederick Eberstadt.
