Biography

Jane Kenyon was born on May 23, 1947 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. She was married to Donald Hall. She died on April 22, 1995 in New Hampshire, USA.

In May, 2002, a theatrical and musical adaptation of the poetry of Jane Kenyon and Donald Hall titled "Sounds of Absence: A Dramatic Presentation of the Poetry and Music of Loss" was performed at Chicago's DePaul University. Susan McGury wrote and directed the piece.
