- Christopher Corey Smith is an American actor, writer and producer born in Redwood City, California to Gladys Jenkins, a banker, and Hal Smith, a commercial photographer. He is of Welsh, Irish, and English descent. He is a classically trained actor having attended the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, and was the founder and artistic director of his own Shakespeare company in Los Angeles. While having appeared on TV and in movies, he is primarily known for his work in voice-over where he can be heard in hundreds of animated projects, commercials and video games portraying characters such as The Joker (Lego Batman), Luke Skywalker (Phineas and Ferb) and Race Bannon (Jonny Quest). His first voice-over mentor was the former Mousketeer and Disney legend Ginny Tyler who narrated the Disney Storybook Albums he listened to as a child. Chris can now be heard narrating Star Wars books for Disney, bringing his first influence full circle. He also studied extensively with the 'king' of Hanna-Barbera voices, Daws Butler. Since 2012 he has been portraying the globe-trotting adventurer Dr Hank Johnson in the augmented reality game Ingress. He has been married to Broadway star and voice-over phenom Cindy Robinson since 2022.
