Contributed additional musical material for The Little Show (1929). Opened at the Music Box Theatre on April 30th. Principally written by Howard Dietz, George S. Kaufman and Fred Allen, with additional contributions by 'Earle Crooker', Kay Swift, Grace Henry, Frank Gray, Henry Sullivan, Henry Myers, Lew Levinson, Paul James, Morris Hamilton, and Herman Hupfeld. Directed by Dwight Wiman and Alexander Leftwich. Cast included Fred Allen, Libby Holman, Clifton Webb, Erik Rhodes, Romney Brent, Harold Moffet, Constance Cummings, Paul Bissinger, Dorothy Humphries and Joan Carter-Waddell with duo-piano accompaniment by Adam Carroll and Ralph Rainger. Note: Show was a major Broadway hit for the 1929 season launching Clifton Webb and Libby Holman into stardom. Songs included, "Moanin' Low" (sung by Libby Holman, becoming one of her early trademarks).
