He became a BBC lighting director in 1990 and went freelance in 2002.
In his career as a staffer he lit shows as varied as EastEnders and
Top of the Pops. In recent years he has worked mostly on comedy
including panel shows, stand up shows and topical review shows. He has
lit more than 30 different sitcoms.
