Biography

Skeets Kelly was born on November 10, 1913 in Newcastle, England, UK. He was a cinematographer, known for Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Battle of Britain (1969) and Around the World in 80 Days (1956). He died on August 18, 1970 in Wicklow, Ireland.

Killed while filming aerial footage for Zeppelin (1971).

Cameraman Skeets Kelly and three others were killed in a mid-air collision between a helicopter and a biplane during filming of Zepplin in Ireland.
