- David Kazishvili was born on October 15, 1969 in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, USSR [now Georgia]. He is an actor, known for Sun of the Sleepless (1992).
- Due to a hand injury-first in a street fight, then on a ring-was unable to participate in boxing championships. He was discovered by Temur Babluani's assistant as he was leaving a medical facility where he was been treated for his hand injury.
- Trained in the national boxing team of the USSR with Kostya Tszyu.
- One of over 11,000 young men cast for the role of Dato in The Sun of the Sleepless.
- Used to be a devoted boxer, determined to become a world champion. Holds four gold medals as a junior boxing champion of the former USSR.
