In the 1940's Beatrice Kay was a popular nightclub, radio and revew performer with her show "The Naughty Nineties".

With the aid of a male quartette (The "Elm City Four") Kaye sang such songs as "Don't go in the lion's cage tonight" and "Waiting at the church". She made at least two albums.
