Deborah Kaufmann was born on 23 March 1970 in East Berlin, East Germany. She is an actress, known for Dark (2017), Jailbirds (1996) and Die Deutschen (2008).

Her mother was the actress <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0116350/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Angela Brunner</a>.

She grew up in her birthplace Kleinmachnow, Brandenburg.

As an infant, she appeared in the DEFA movie &quot;Der Mann, der nach der Oma kam&quot; alongside her mother.

Her father is German-Australian writer Walter Kaufmann.
