Biography

A blonde, blue-eyed beauty, Pennsylvania-born Kim Kitaine was raised in a very strict household, her father being a state trooper. Unwilling to live by her family's rules, she left home on her 18th birthday and moved to New York, where her stunning good looks soon landed her a job as a stripper. While dancing in one of New York's top clubs she met porn actress Lauren Brice, who was so impressed with Kim's looks and demeanor that she suggested Kim head to L.A. and break into the adult film business, which she did in 1991. Taking her last name from actress Tawny Kitaen, Kim took the porn industry by storm. However, she left the business after just a few years, came back in 1994, then left again. In 1996 she came back with a new attitude (and an "improved" body) and during the next three years rose to the top of the business. However, her health began to deteriorate and she started having seizures, one of them resulting in an automobile crash.

On April 1, 1999, she was at home taking a shower when she suffered a severe seizure and collapsed to the bottom of the shower stall. The washcloth she had been using clogged the drain, and the unconscious Kim drowned.
