Nosratollah Karimi was born on 22 December 1924 in Tehran, Iran. He was a director and writer, known for The Interim Husband (1971), The Ruined House (1975) and The Triple Bed (1972). He was married to Parvin Teymouri. He died on 3 December 2019 in Tehran, Iran.

Often confused with his name sake who mostly worked as an assistant director in Iranian cinema (and casually was cast in minor roles).
