- William Karfiol was born on December 10, 1875 in Klikowa, Poland - now Tarnow. He was a director and producer, known for Sein Badepuppchen (1918), Hoppla, Vater sieht's ja nicht (1919) and Benjamin, der Schüchterne (1916). He died on April 29, 1945 in Berlin, Germany.
