Rachel Kamerman is a seasoned Production Designer and visual storyteller, with nearly 350 episodes of television and streaming to her name. Her work includes fan favorites like Gilmore Girls and Pretty Little Liars, as well as iconic feature films such as But I'm A Cheerleader and Van Wilder.
Known for her character-driven approach, Rachel's design style ranges from extreme realism to stylized hyper-realism, always grounded in the emotional truth of the story. Her deep knowledge of architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture informs the immersive and imaginative worlds she creates.
A first-generation American, Rachel's love of storytelling was shaped by her parents' passion for classic Hollywood cinema. She discovered her interest in architecture at a young age and has since channeled that passion into a diverse and vibrant design career.
She has been married to documentary director, producer and show runner Eddie Schmidt since 2001.
