- He was in Greece, on vacation, when they filmed Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) and was allowed to visit the set as much as he wanted.
- He was one of the first teachers in radio and film production, when the new Media Education Centre at Sundsta/Älvkullegymnasiet (high school) in Karlstad started in 1994. Some of his students are, Robert P. Olsson, Ulf Norström, Jimi Vix, Kristoffer Andrén, Björn-Erik Karlsson, Sara Norström Johan Broo and Peter Wikström.
