Biography

Robert Kallström was born on December 22, 1959 in Karlstad, Värmlands län, Sweden. Robert is a producer and cinematographer, known for War Dog (1987), Förbannelsen (2004) and Rex regi rebellis (2003).

He was in Greece, on vacation, when they filmed Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) and was allowed to visit the set as much as he wanted.

He was one of the first teachers in radio and film production, when the new Media Education Centre at Sundsta/Älvkullegymnasiet (high school) in Karlstad started in 1994. Some of his students are, Robert P. Olsson, Ulf Norström, Jimi Vix, Kristoffer Andrén, Björn-Erik Karlsson, Sara Norström Johan Broo and Peter Wikström.

He is the founder of the movie production company Stargate Production AB.

He is the father of Niklas Kallström.
