Janez Kalisnik was born on 2 March 1921 in Drenov Gric kod Ljubljane, Slovenia. He was a cinematographer and actor, known for The Sunny Whirlpool (1968), A Dance in the Rain (1961) and X-25 Reports (1960). He died on 1 January 2004.
