Biography

Raina Kabaivanska was born on December 15, 1934 in Burgas, Bulgaria. She is an actress, known for Tosca (1988), Tosca (1990) and Pagliacci (1968). She was previously married to Franco Guandalini.

She teaches Master Classes in Bulgaria, Italy, and France

She currently lives in Modena, Italy with her husband.

Today, the opera is in crisis. I know many great singers, but nobody has a great individual talent. It's not just the quantity, it's the quality. This is the reason for my battle, to keep the opera art growing. As a teacher, I try to give of what I know to my students.
