Biography

Danilo Jurado was born on November 25, 1951 in Manila, Philippines. He is an actor and director, known for Lapis, Ballpen at Diploma, a True to Life Journey (2014), Isputnik vs. Darna (1963) and Si Darna at ang Impakta (1963).

(Dec 2007) Now an editor for weekly tabloids..still working as an actor and had several guests appearances on television. Also has a column on a monthly Filipino entertainment magazine, circulating in Filipino restaurants in Las Vegas aptly named Las Vegas star.

Currently a publisher of Pilipino Chronicle weekly newspaper in the Philippines. Also the Entertainment Editor of Brigada Newspaper located at F.B. Harrison Sts. Manila. He has a radio program every Sunday 11-12nn together with the cast of the DZXQ 70s hit radio program "operetang putol-putol". Now airing in DWBL 1242 kHz.

Discovered his talent in the field of broadcasting working in ABS-CBN's radio station the 70's. The musical-comedy hit show, "Operetang Putol-Putol" co-starring with Edgar Mortiz, Jay Ilagan, Danny Taguaim, Joe Alvarez, Richard Merk, Esperanza Favon, Dolly Favorito, Elizabeth Ledesma, Perla Adea and Tessie Lagman.
