- Friedrich Wilhelm Junge was born on July 15, 1938 in Schwerin, Germany. He was an actor, known for Addio, piccola mia (1979), Verwirrung der Liebe (1959) and SAS 181 Does Not Reply (1959). He died on February 20, 2025 in Dresden, Saxony, Germany.
- After graduating from the Goethe High School in Schwerin, Junge studied at the "Hans Otto" Theater Academy in Leipzig from 1957 to 1960.
- Junge was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit with Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1995.
- In addition to his theater roles, Junge has staged cabaret, chanson and literary programs.
- He was in 1989 a founding member of the New Saxon Art Association and in 1997 of the support group for the reconstruction of the Dresden synagogue.
