- Nicole Josy was born on October 21, 1946 in Wemmel, Flanders, Belgium. She was an actress, known for Dag dag heerlijke lach (1974), Brabançonne (2014) and Alice in Wonderland, de musical (2011). She was married to Hugo Sigal. She died on November 4, 2022 in Jette, Brussels, Belgium.

- She entered the Eurovision Song Contest with Hugo Sigal in 1971 and 1973. But in 1971 they couldn't go because Nicole was ill.
- In 1970, she met Hugo Sigal. They fell in love, and also became professional partners. They formed a singing duo that scored their first big hit in 1971 with the song "Goeiemorgen, morgen'. Since then, they formed a well-known showbiz couple for decades. They continued to perform inseparably all these years, but in 2015 they said their final farewell to the stage.
